בשלשים ושתים נתיבות פליאות חכמה חקק יה יהוה צבאות אלהי ישראל אלהים חיים ומלך עולם אל שדי רחום וחנון רם ונשא שוכן עד מרום וקדוש שמו וברא את עולמו בשלשה ספרים בספר וספר וספור:
With thirty-two wondrous paths of wisdom, Y"H YHW"H, God of Israel, Living God and King of the World, El Shaddai, Merciful and Compassionate, High and Lofty One Dwelling Eternally Above, Holy is His Name [Isaiah 57:15]—[God] engraved and created [God's] world with three ס-פ-ר: with סְפֹר (enumeration), סֵפֶר (scroll), and סִפּוּר (telling).
שלש מים מרוח חקק וחצב בהן תהו ובהו רפש וטיט חקקן כמין ערוגה הציבן כמין חומה סככם כמין מעזיבה:
Three – [God] engraved water from air, and with them carved tohu and bohu—mud and loam. [God] engraved them like a garden bed, erected them like a wall, covered them like pavement.
ועוד הערוגה היא צינורות להשקות את הגן ולהצמיח מוצא דשאים ואילנות בכחות העליונים.
....שְׁלשָׁה בְּרִיּוֹת קָדְמוּ אֶת הָעוֹלָם, הַמַּיִם וְהָרוּחַ וְהָאֵשׁ. הַמַּיִם הָרוּ וְיָלְדוּ אֲפֵלָה, הָאֵשׁ הָרָה וְיָלְדָה אוֹר, הָרוּחַ הָרָה וְיָלְדָה חָכְמָה, וּבְשֵׁשׁ בְּרִיּוֹת אֵלּוּ הָעוֹלָם מִתְנַהֵג, בָּרוּחַ, בַּחָכְמָה, וּבָאֵשׁ, וּבָאוֹר, וּבַחשֶׁךְ, וּבַמָּיִם.....
...Three creations preceded the world: Water, air [ruaḥ], and fire. Water became pregnant and gave birth to darkness. Fire became pregnant and gave birth to light. Air became pregnant and gave birth to wisdom. With these six creations the world is conducted, with spirit, with wisdom, with fire, with light, with darkness, and with water....
יִשְׁלַ֣ח דְּבָר֣וֹ וְיַמְסֵ֑ם יַשֵּׁ֥ב ר֝וּח֗וֹ יִזְּלוּ־מָֽיִם׃
He issues a command—it melts them;He breathes—the waters flow.
(ט) כִּֽי־גָבְה֥וּ שָׁמַ֖יִם מֵאָ֑רֶץ כֵּ֣ן גָּבְה֤וּ דְרָכַי֙ מִדַּרְכֵיכֶ֔ם וּמַחְשְׁבֹתַ֖י מִמַּחְשְׁבֹֽתֵיכֶֽם׃ (י) כִּ֡י כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר יֵרֵד֩ הַגֶּ֨שֶׁם וְהַשֶּׁ֜לֶג מִן־הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם וְשָׁ֙מָּה֙ לֹ֣א יָשׁ֔וּב כִּ֚י אִם־הִרְוָ֣ה אֶת־הָאָ֔רֶץ וְהוֹלִידָ֖הּ וְהִצְמִיחָ֑הּ וְנָ֤תַן זֶ֙רַע֙ לַזֹּרֵ֔עַ וְלֶ֖חֶם לָאֹכֵֽל׃ (יא) כֵּ֣ן יִהְיֶ֤ה דְבָרִי֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יֵצֵ֣א מִפִּ֔י לֹא־יָשׁ֥וּב אֵלַ֖י רֵיקָ֑ם כִּ֤י אִם־עָשָׂה֙ אֶת־אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָפַ֔צְתִּי וְהִצְלִ֖יחַ אֲשֶׁ֥ר שְׁלַחְתִּֽיו׃...
But as the heavens are high above the earth,So are My ways high above your ways And My plans above your plans. For as the rain or snow drops from heavenAnd returns not there,But soaks the earthAnd makes it bring forth vegetation,Yielding seed for sowing and bread for eating, So is the word that issues from My mouth:It does not come back to Me unfulfilled,But performs what I purpose,Achieves what I sent it to do.
