Composed: Talmudic Israel/Babylon, 200 CE
Sifrei Bamidbar is a halakhic (legal) midrash on the Book of Numbers, starting from its 5th chapter. Compiled around the third century in Israel, it incorporates much aggadic (narrative) material as well. While primarily from the school of Rabbi Yishmael, it also includes sections from other schools of interpretation.
