Jacob's Blessing of Ephraim & Menasseh

The God in whose ways my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked,

The God who has been my shepherd from my birth to this day—

The Angel who has redeemed me from all harm—

Bless the lads.

Here Jacob says HaElohim (literally: the gods) in whose presence Abraham and Isaac walked, and HaElohim (the gods) who has been Jacob’s shepherd his whole life, and HaMalakh HaGoel (The Redeeming Angel)—Jacob says about this One, that though seemingly plural, in some way this One blesses the lads as a singular action.
