Aliyah 1
  • טֶנֶא (tene) (26:2,4)
  • The place where בִּכּוּרִים (bikkurim, first crops) are brought. This ends up being Yerushalayim. (26:2)
Aliyah 2
  • The third year (26:12). This refers to the tithe for the poor, known later on as מַעֲשֵׂר עָנִי (maaser ani), and it is given in the third and sixth years of the seven-year shemittah cycle.
