(1) And the heaven and the earth were finished, and all their host. (2) And on the seventh day God finished God's work which God had made; and God rested on the seventh day from all God's work which God had made. (3) And God blessed the seventh day, and made it holy; because that on it God rested from all God's work which God in creating had made.
(8) Remember to keep the sabbath day holy. (9) Six days shalt you work, and do all your creative activity; (10) but the seventh day is a sabbath for the Eternal your God, on it you shall not do any creative activity, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your man-servant, nor your maid-servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates; (11) for in six days the Eternal made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Eternal blessed the sabbath day, and make it holy.
