What is Sefaria?
Sefaria is a free living library of Jewish texts and their interconnections, in Hebrew and in translation.
All texts are fully searchable and related sections of text are interlinked making it easy for users to move from one source to another.
Sefaria also provides a source sheet builder which allows registered users to create source sheets which include texts from the Sefaria library, outside texts, comments, and media. Source sheet authors have the opportunity to share their work with the Sefaria community by making them public which adds the sheets to the library.
Sefaria is also an Android and iOS app which means that you can carry an entire Jewish library in the palm of your hand.
The video below is a quick tour of Sefaria. This sheet and others in the Tutorial group will provide directions for using the website and apps. If you have additional questions, please write to [email protected].
