Yom Tov (literally: "good day") refers to any Jewish holiday marked by ritual blessings over the wine and abstention from work: the beginning and end of Passover, Shavuot, Rosh HaShanah, Yom Kippur, the beginning and end of Sukkot, Shemini Atseret, and Simchat Torah.
