Reading of the Rome ms. Leyden and Venice: בר ייכל.

In the Leyden ms., the first hand has ברביעית מעות, the corrector writes ברביעית כסף. The Venice print has simply ברביעית. The Rome ms. has ורביעית מעות “and a quarter (denar) in coin.” This might be the best reading in the Mishnah.
