The wood might either be the handle or the tree to be felled. Cf. Arabic نسل “to beget, procreate; to pluck; to unravel, untwist, fray; to molt; to fall out” (1st conjugation). getting lost and it says there12Deut. 17:40. נשר is Mishnaic Hebrew for all material shed by a plant., for your olives will fall off. Since getting lost there means falling off, here also it means falling off. What is the rabbis’ reason?
