Badei HaAron; Sheviit is a collection of articles and responsa on the Shemitah (Sabbatical) year compiled over more than 35 years by Rav Re’em HaCohen, head of Yeshivat Otniel in Israel. It focuses on practical contemporary applications of Shemitah in Israel as well as on Shemitah’s theoretical underpinnings, highlighting the holiness inherent in the commandment and the differences between Shemitah during the times of the Temple and Shemitah in the absence of a Temple.
